Submissions
We open for submissions in December, 2026.
Our editors are looking for literary speculative fiction novels or arts-related nonfiction written by authors from or based in the Island of Ireland. We operate on a crowdfunding model, and authors can be unagented.
By literary we mean there is an emphasis on psychological realism, depth of meaning, and well-crafted prose. Speculative means strong genre elements of fantasy, magic realism, science fiction, or horror that are essential to the plot.
Manuscripts must be written entirely by a human. No AI-generated or AI-enhanced content, please.
We are not looking for poetry, hybrid, graphic novels, scripts, or childens books. Short story collections will be considered.
Subject matter can be for adult/YA audiences, but we are not interested in publishing p*rn, erotica, graphic depictions of assault, torture, body horror, animal cruelty, propaganda, or hate speech.
Manuscripts must be fully complete and polished to the best of your ability, and written in a standard, readable style and format.
Word count: between 40,000 to 130,000
Submit your query package as an attachment to our email. We respond to all submissions within 6 months. Do not send us full novels, unsolicited materials, or audio/visual files.
